Apache SSL won’t start – make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443

Apache SSL won’t start with following error message:

... waiting (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443
no listening sockets available, shutting down

It would be nice to have Apache2 state, in plain english, “Sorry, that port is already in use” but I guess we’ll have to live with the GeekSpeak.

To find what process is using what ports, use lsof -i to list open files with the -i flag for Internet and x.25 files.
